The village of Kastro is so unique and beautiful. The staircase to the church appears difficult, but with a slow steady pace, so rewarding. The view of the cliffs and small beach are beautiful. We ventured on a very windy day, but did not adversely...More

This very small but very nice church has a wonderful view over the sea. You will need to go down (and then up on the return) several steps, but it is worth it. If you have issues with stairs, at least reach the bench on...More

A very beautiful sight, indeed. Does require some walking, both up and down steps. Perhaps not a walk for anyone with ankle, knee or foot issues. That said, it is breathtaking from above as well. If there are four people in your group a taxi...More

It takes a bit of time to find it, but the Kastro is a beautiful place to get lost in. Be prepared for a bit of hiking to reach the Church, however every where you look is a picture worthy of a postcard. Well worth...More

A long walk down hundreds of steps from the ancient city of Kastro. Very beautiful site. Well worth the walk. The fotos speak for themselves.

Apollonia is the centre of the island and very pretty, but if you want the beach you can't beat Kamares as your base.
