Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beach isn't very famous and I think it's not rated in TOP-10 in Cyprus but if you want just to swim in beautiful and clear water and to lie in the sun - this beach is super Ok. The important detail - there is very good infrastructure on this beach:
- the most important thing for us - we rented two SUPs ( stand up paddles ) and we needed good entrance to water and enough place to inflate them - this place is good for it
- shops (not kiosks but normal shops) are close enough, maube 7 minutes of walk
- two bars. They are rather expensive and I don't recommend any of them but if you want draft beer - you will get it (for 5-7 euro for a pint)
- toilets, changing rooms and douche are next to you
- if you don't want to rent an umbrella and sun beds for 2.5 Euro each there is a big peace of beach free of umbrellas
- trees are close to the beach and the place is very green as for Cyprus so you can find place in shadow under trees and you have a chance to park a car in the shadow too.
So finally swimming on SUP in this beach is super - we were two families with 4 children and everebody was happy, children asked the next day to SUP here again.
The SUPs we rented from rentcyprus.online - these guys are good because the prices are Ok and they deliver items just to your location (even to the beach) and pick it up where you want too.
Please be attentive to the time you are going to the beach - the sun is very aggessive in Cyprus in summer. If you want to swim or to SUP for a long priod you need to have a hat and long sleeves, especially if it's about children.

Maybe made a mistake got 2 beds not to far from harbour - price is fine 7.50 euros incl umbrella- beach was fine -narrow but we only wanted to sunbathe so no issue for us - getting into the sea - ouch full of rocks - even using the sandbags walkway which is a massive help gets you out so far - then there are still rocks all around - yes I appreciate I am whinging about nature my fault - i will go again a lot but further down away from the harbour and see if it improves

Nice beach, one of the better ones I've visied recently. Nice light coloured sand and not too many rocks in the sea. Plenty of sunbeds for hire.

It was Christmas Morning and early so our stroll across Panachou Beach was very quiet and peaceful. With the Cool sea lapping the shore we had a paddle and thoroughly enjoyed a nice change.

The closest beach to our accomodation, full of a mix of nationalities and families. Sun beds €2 & umbrella €3.50. Super close to the harbour, bars and there is a snack kiosk at Paradisos. The water is warm, some parts are rocky but you can see from the light blue where the sandy bits are. Would definitely recommend. Sunrise here is blocked by the skyline but you can still see some gorgeous pinky/purple sky from 5am.

Nice beach next to the harbour, with rocks closer to the harbour and mostly sand the other way. A lot of options for watersports. If you bring swimming glasses, you might see some small fish :)
Lifeguard is just on duty from 10 in the morning tho, while a lot of people are there earlier...

A sandy beach without blue flag, close to the city center. Although it is sandy at the shore there are lots of rocks at the bottom, it is easy to kick that is uncomfortable at best case. Especially annoying at heavy waves. If you are lucky then you can rent sunbeds at the Grecian Bay Hotel, more convenient and with better umbrellas and a better view.
There are not many bars at the beach - there wouldn't be enough space - but the harbour next it compensates for it.

A man made beach where the sand runs out at the waters edge and the pebbles/rocks start. Really disappointed as we love a stroll along the beach dipping our feet in the water. There are sandbags laid out in the water to form a pathway into the sea so you can go for a swim. The sandbags are slippy and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The beach is kept clean and it was €7.50 for 2 sunloungers and a parasol. I would only recommend it to sunbathers.

The beach is sandy with lots of sun decks for rent. Half of the beach has a pebbly descent to water (there are some sand platforms to help get to the water), the rest is sandy. Close to the rocky clif the water is breathtakingly blue.

Nice beach, we consider to be better than much overated Nissi Beach.
Large beach, calm water, we swim in April, the water was a little bit cold, but nothing to disturb kids enjoyment.
The sunbeds are cost 2.5 EUR/each, and also 2.5 EUR for the umbrella.
