We walked in the evening, it's stunning at that time of day. Worth going inside to see the church ruins (destroyed by napoleon). We happened to be there for a piano concert which was just beautiful

If you have any interest in history, then this location has plenty to offer, from Greeks, through Romans, Visigoths and on. Nicely presented with plenty of interpretation on the returnable guide sheets.

A large site in the centre of town, beautifully kept. You could spend a long time here studying the interesting layers of history--good info on this is provided in several languages
