This gem of a skiing value, is located on the Apache reservation in Navajo Co, AZ. A 3-4 hour drive NE of Phoenix or Tucson, and close to NM border, lodging is close by and prices are among the best in the West. Stay at either of the 2 hotels located on the reservation, or in the small towns of... More

We continue to visit Sunrise a couple times a year only because we have a cabin near the ski hill. They could and should do so much more with this place as far as amenities and customer service. If you go, do not expect to be overwhelmed. It is not in the class of other ski places in Utah, Colorado... More

Skiied on a busy New Years weekend. They weren't quite prepared for the remaining crowds on the Monday following new years in terms of lines. Tuesday was awesome. The snow was excellent and the slopes were well groomed. They were making snow both days, so there was fresh powder to supplement what nature was providing. Plenty of choices for runs.... More

That day was too much crowded. Due to too much crowd they closed the lift for the folks who are not doing ski. I will say that they could... More

We about a zip line ticket 45 minutes in advance and were told to return 15 minutes ahead of scheduled time. We did so but nothing was happening yet so we told the attendant we would use the restroom and be right back. Less than five minutes later we returned to find out the van had left without her. We... Friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the zip lines. Jon and Dara were our amazing guides. All employees were extremely polite and helpful. Can't wait to return in May! Also, I liked the convenience of making reservations online, paying online, and signing waivers online.
