I enjoy Wadi Bani Khalid a lot due to its easy 5-minute walk from the parking lot, comparing to Wadi Shab with 45-min hike. The wadi is open and large. The swim was great. There were a lot of skin eating fishes that made great...More

The main part of the Wadi starts about a 10 minute walk from the car park (you just kind of follow the water / other people!). We found a large area where a big tour group had left their stuff on the rocks and could...More

A village hidden among the mountains. Where swimming can be enjoyed. And palm forests. It is a destination for recreation, relaxation and swimming to escape from the desert.

one of the largest and most picturesque wadis in Oman where water flows all year round. Nestled deep into the mountains, it is a true oasis. You can cool down in the green pools or walk up the wadi and see more pools with waterfalls.
