We visited the Desert Conservation Reserve with Platinum Heritage which I heartily recommend. We saw a number of wildlife, had wonderful photo opportunities and thoroughly enjoyed the desert with its flora and fauna.

I would go back in a heart beat. A very unique reserve, but with eyes open there is much to see and enjoy. I didn't stay in the reserve, but did enjoy a most delicious breakfast.

I joined with a friend lives in Dubai, the tour start place is far away from the center of Dubai, it took 1hour more. The contents of the tour is desert safari and ,meal and a watching show at the...More

interesting experience, and enjoyed seeing the Arabian wildlife in such a remote place. Lots of "dubs" (big lizards) to be seen the day we went.

The safari is great fun, primarily the dune bashing and the dance shows. The other frills promised such as henna, dressing in the native clothes, and the camel ride are forced additions.

i did not come across a morning camel ride program. evening ride is the usually the itinerary where the sun is not hot and you can end up with a Arabic dinner and dance program or a sun set viewing chill off.

Hi, you can get a private car from the company that does the tours but will follow more or less the whole convoy of cars and more or less stick to the schedule. Sunset is part of the tour though in any case.
