If you are interested in mines and history it is worth a visit. also the scenery around is beautiful. tipp: bring a lot of warm clothes cause it is only around 8 degrees inside the mine!More

We went on the 90 minute guided tour and learnt all about asphalt! This mine, with about 100km of galleries, was the largest one in Europe until its production ceased in the 1980s. Our guide was bilingual French-German and explained everything competently in both languages....More

Odd to know that waking in London most of the asphalt came from here, did not find that interesting inside ,just another mines , perhaps a bit safer then a coal mine,More
