Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was given a voucher for Langham’s ‘Brewer for a Day’ and went along, not knowing what to expect. The day was without reservation one of the most enjoyable gifts I’ve ever been given! A warm welcome from the small team, a chance to muck in to all the processes that go into brewing some very fine craft beers, lunch (with a pint or two of course) and then more of the same. A chance to sample some of the different beers through the afternoon made me very glad I was getting a lift home afterwards! To top it all I was able to go back a couple of weeks later to pick up some of the beer I had had a hand in brewing. Top day, top team, top beers. Thank you all.

My brother and I visited Langhams this week for a ‘brewer for a day’ experience, which you can buy via their website. What a fantastic day it was! We were hosted by Sal, Fran and Becs who couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel at home. Sal and Fran took us through the whole brewing process, in which they are hugely experienced and meticulous with (there’s a lot of cleaning involved, which not all breweries do to such a high standard, but this results in delicious, consistent brews). We helped out with tasks such as cleaning barrels, adding hops and cleaning the mash tun. Becs supplied lunch and a pint for us whist we chatted with friendly customers. The day ended with a full range of samples and we were able to take away ALOT of beer and merchandise, which is all included in the price for the day! Overall the day is fantastic value and a brilliant experience I would recommend to anyone.

Whilst it is only fair to point out that the host admitted to being inexperienced as a quizmaster, it is not a good look for a brewery to run a quiz with an entry fee as high as £10.00 a head, where winner and runner-up, the only two prize-winning teams, both appeared to be closely connected with the brewery.

The beer is excellent, but if you're doing a quiz, don't ask so many questions about your own business and its products, and do work out exactly how the scoring system will work and what the maximum score is, in advance.

When visiting friends around the Witterings and Birdham I always pop in for a dozen Best Bitter. Great brewery great beer every time. Now when the sun is shining I can stop for a beer too. It really is worth going out of the way for.

First discovered this brewery through visiting the Royal Oak in East Lavant. We decided on a birthday treat to visit the taproom, to sample the beers. Finding the brewery is not difficult, but the local lanes are narrow. The taproom is behind the main brewery building. Plenty of car parking space at the front. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We shared a taster of the different beers, all of which were excellent. As a result we bought several bottles and cans of the different beers, plus a couple of commemorative beer glasses. Definitely an enjoyable visit.

A good selection of beers, plus nice pizzas and a warm welcome make this a very pleasant venue for an enjoyable session. About 15 minutes walk from an hourly bus route and well worth finding.

What an excellent place. Went there a few weeks back with a mate to sample the numerous beers. Instead of the planned 2 hour visit it turned into 4. Luckily a lift had been sorted. Two very happy mates, though the missus was a bit miffed.
However the beers and service were top notch - only wish it was where I lived.
