An Orthodox Christian monastery in Donetsk province of eastern Ukriane. The lavra is located on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River. a quiet place, an unusual and worthwhile visit.

The temples are beautiful and historical. Monks can give you an interesting tour through the place and the caves can make you feel in another time.

No need to rate such a holy place. Take a trip here, cope with the bumpy roads, enter the monastery. Pray. You will never forget the day...Amen. PS. There are 2 museums on the territory of the monastery and ancient chalk monastic caves for those,...More

it took over 2 very bumpy hours to drive here from lozovia but it was worth every sick making kilometer ! the monastery (with the usual gold/chrome domes) is approached from the car park over a bridge where newly weds leave signed padlocks to lock...More
