Our favorite part of our plaza visit was watching the children at play, the groups of local seniors gathered together, and other residents of Ronda enjoying the evening. Best to visit during sunset.

Pretty but unspectacular church right next to the park in the centre of town. Situated right next to a busy through-route but there is a crossing just down the road. Best photos are taken from the park entrance.

This is a very attractive structure associated with Sister Theresa. I wanted to go inside and see the church properly but unfortunately my friend lost his passport and all his money in the crowd. A lady pickpocket who was standing behind him whisked away his purse from his backpack and disappeared quickly before he could realise what had happened.. We... More

The adventure here is to go around to the left side of the church, enter the side door and order some baked goods from the cloistered nuns. We had a Spanish speaking guide which made the process easier. We also got the key to go into the locked side room and saw the silver hand of St Theresa. A very... More

Go to the door to the left of this pretty church, and ring the bell and be served biscuits by nuns who you can't see but they put your goods on a lazy Susan. Fascinating and not many people know about it

Interesting association with Sister Theresa. The church has Mercy as its theme. Visited during Samana Santa so lots of celebrations going on.

This Iglesia is an epic picture perfect while in Ronda. The colourful and vibrant looking structure will amaze you from far. Cannot be missed while in Ronda. Located just before getting to the main square.

We stayed at Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa which is nearby here so were lucky enough to walk past it to and from our hotel. Lots of people go to take photos. The easy walk through the park, at the side of it, to the old town, was one of the highlights of our trips. Amazing views.

This church is on the edge of the Plaza de la Merced which is fringed by many cafes and restaurants. The church is very pretty from the outside but was shut when we tried to enter it at two different times of the day. Shame!.

Unfortunately we were not able to get inside as front doors were locked. I thought that this church was like many others nowadays, locked except when services are being held. The outside is white, very clean and well maintained. It is set beautifully behind a lovely square. If I had 4 g internet I could have looked it up on... More
