Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This view can be achieved by driving but you will have to walk the remainder. There is a small free car park and opportunity for a longer walk if you wish. However it is hard work depending on how close, or further away, you wish to get from the bridge.

There's not a listing for the exact viewpoint we went to but it make sense to put it on this listing so here we go!

On April 2nd, we went to Mirador La Hoya Del Tajo (if you zoom in close enough on Google Maps, you can even see the little "P" symbol pop up for the parking lot). This was our favorite place we went to, to view the new bridge.

For us, Google routed us north along A-374 until we got to Ctra. de los Molinos. That took us all the way to the parking lot. You'd SWEAR you were driving on private property, about to drive into a dead-end hotel or just plain drive off the road - it's a narrow road with virtually no signage, except for the ones saying you're driving towards a hotel. Luckily, we only managed to encounter 2 others cars on the road and both were in areas where the road was wider. I wouldn't even know what to do if that road was busy. Furthermore, th parking lot is tiny and just a dirt lot. Maybe 10 or so cars can fit. But unless you're planning on hiking, you can be in & out within a few minutes if you just want some pictures so hopefully not all cars would be there for too much longer.

The drive out of town had us go back the same way so we slowly took the road back and we popped back out onto A-374.

Stunning! A must see point in Ronda and the whole Spain. Be advised that there are some steps to get to the viewing point, may be unsuitable for some people and small children. Get a water before going down.

River Tajo is the longest river of Iberian peninsula, about 1000km. Ronda, the charming town built on a rocky plateau is split in two by the Tajo Gorge, with the Guadalevín mountain stream at the bottom. It’s a dizzying experience to look down into the 160m deep chasm. It's worth. Fantastic, it’s a must-see sight.

A place you have to see if you are visiting the area.
The bridge maybe doesn’t look like something if you’re not interested in old stuff.
But the nature around it is astonishing.

Do yourself a favour and waltz/drive to see the bridge from below. You will not regret it even though it is through stone roads

Monday 9th May and we walked across incredible New Bridge, Puente Nuevo in the mountain Town of Ronda.

We stopped part way across the bridge and looking over the side we were treated to the breathtaking views of this mighty ravine, El Tajo, which the Bridge spans.

It is 120 metres (393 feet) in depth, down to the bed of the River Guadalevín.

The rock formations and the numerous tree and bushes with the bright green leaves enhance the extraordinary landscape.

There are a number of vantage points around the Town from where the ravine can be seen from different angles. No matter from what angle it is viewed from it still looks spectacular.

A walk down into the gorge to the various viewpoints is worth it in my opinion. Though my own favourite spot was the ledge just north of the Mirador Puente Nuevo de Ronda. If you just do that one walking down from the top you don’t get all the viewpoints but you also don’t have to walk as far :)
