In the Plaza de Toros just behind the bullring stands a superb sculpture of a Spanish bull. If this is anywhere close to life size then it generates enormous respect in me for the ‘Toreros’ involved in bullfighting. It also makes for an impressive photograph....More

This was the first purpose built bullring in the world and well worth a visit. We saw a horse being trained in the riding school which added to our visit. It costs 7 euros but worth every penny.

My wife and I travelled here this past December. I found the place fascinating as I did not know much about bullfights before hand. The audioguide was very informative and helpful. I would recommend the guide and there isn't much signage or explanation otherwise.

The Bull ring is only used one weekend in September for bull fighting. The rest of the time it is used for concerts, shows and a school for horse riding. The museum provides some history and it is an interesting part of their culture. It...More

Excellent visit. Super fun and to be seen. Not enough explanations in English, but nevertheless memorable. Can’t be missed.

This was a must see for me in Ronda because it is the home of bullfighting. I disagree with bullfighting and hopefully some day soon it will be consigned to history. However we cannot erase history so with this attitude I decided to visit Plaza...More

An impressive building and important historical landmark, despite its terrible use. It is the oldest and most monumental of all Plazas de Toros.

No. The bullring in Ronda is the most important Plaza de Toros in Spain and is only used for bullfights one weekend per year, during the town's annual fiesta. The Goyesca Corrida(bullfight) is held on the Saturday (the... More
