Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Monday 9th May and we visited the delightful mountain town of Ronda.
Having seen the two major and most stunning obvious attractions of the New Bridge and the El Tajo de Ronda, we set off exploring
We walked around the streets of the Town sightseeing and discovering the numerous treasures along the way.
We strolled around the impressive Murallas de la Cijara, old City Walls, which led us under the Arco Felipe V.
Along every street and around every corner there was something to see perhaps, an old Church, an Minaret, a statue, a fountain, a tiled mural and so much more. Another feature is the array of beautiful old buildings that line the streets.
From various points around the Town there were beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.

Despite very intense rain and wind, Ronda made great impression. One of the iconic Puebla Blanca well worth to visit together with Senetil de la Bodegas. A bit too touristy, so if you prefer more quite place visit less advertised pueblos. In short it is a must if you are in Andalucia.

The old town of Ronda is a well-preserved historical town of Andalusia. Its historical part is like an open museum, as it is full of museums, historical, religious and urban monuments and attractions. The view of the gorge that divides it in two is fascinating and is the main attraction for visitors. A visit here is a must!

The old town of Ronda is located in the south after the crossing of Pont Neuf. Many sights to see or visit, such as the City Hall, Plaza de la Duquesa de Parcent, the Church of Santa Maria the Mayor, the Murallas of Levante and Cijara, the Old Bridge, the Roman Bridge, the Puerta de Almocabar, etc...
Everything is beautifully preserved or restored. A walk of at least two hours to discover all the secrets of this beautiful historic district.

The first Celt settlers arrived in Ronda in the 6th century BC and were followed by Phoenicians, Romans, Suebis, Visigoths and Berbers. From 713 AD to 1485 AD, Ronda was under Islamic rule and it was right after the "Reconquista" that the legendary Catholic Kings crossed the iconic "Puerta de Almocábar" for the very first time! So, the Old Town of Ronda, most commonly known as "La Ciudad", retains much of these cultures and characteristics. Stroll along its narrow streets and let yourself be bewitched by this magical and romantic "Old Town". Enjoy!

It is well worth a wander across the bridge along to the old city. Beautiful cobbled, pathways, winding alleyways and churches. There is a Plaza with a lovely bar and restaurant and further down the ramparts of the old town and the main gate into this part of Ronda.

Ronda is simply great for just walking and exploring. I don't feel that you need a guide; just a little sense of adventure and go. You'll stumble across the most beautiful views and an incredibly scenic Old Town.

Been here for the second time and I enjoyed it again. Stayed 4 nights an combined a visit to Ronda with a day out to visit Sentinil de las Bodegas. Also a wonderful place to visit and only 25 km away. Sentinil is famous for it's bodegas build in rocks.

Oldest city ... nice location but meanwhile very touristy. It is a shame to see the differences from 15 yrs ago to now.
But I guess it needs to be that way. Nevertheless: great place to visit. Especially when u leave the tourist paths.

Place full of medieval charm. Its cobbled streets, historic houses and small squares create a magical atmosphere. It is the perfect place to get lost, exploring local shops, cafes and historical sites. The old town is the cultural heart of Ronda, offering a fascinating look at its history and traditions. An essential visit to understand the essence of the city.
