An interesting Church which is on the site of worship for the Moors in their time, the Minaret was altered into its current form and changed to a christian place of worship, and worth a stop and a cheap entry fee ,in a lovely shady plaza.

Decided to pop in while in the area. This ones a bit different due to the varied history. However the main draws are the back wall and the spectacular views from the top Keep an eye out for the little details!

The square is situated almost at the entrance to the old city, but at the same time it is not so crowded as central streets. Nice place for calm cup of coffee.

This is a church for serious worshippers of Mary, who would be embarassed at her prominence to the almost exclusion of her So. It is a fine building, but I struggled with its theology

Originally a Roman temple, then a Muslim mosque and after the Reconquest of Southern Spain by the Christians, it was converted to a Catholic church. As you tour the church you see the evolution of the structure---the bell tower constructed on top of the Muslim...More
