Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You will need Italian help to make this an amazing visit as some of the wineries are open to the public and others need a reservation. Each property has a different story, amazing space, incredible vistas and wonderful tastes.
Franciacorta is not dominant in New York like it is in Como and Argegno, where we first had the idea to visit.
There are many little places that will house you so ask everyone you meet what to do and where to stay.
We did four tastings and two meals in one day. If I had it to do over, I would have made it a two day trip - adding walks and a picnic. The area is gorgeous. We found two amazing restaurants because we had locals guiding our every move. We stayed in a lovely winery which is not open to the public at all - so do ask around.
Don't be shy, ask your local Enoteca to help you. This is a terrific adventure.

On our first trip to Bergamo, we tasted La Fiorita Brut at a lovely restaurant, and were in love with this incredible "bubbly". On our second trip to Bergamo, after tasing many well known Franciacorta Bruts, we decided to drive along the Strada del Vino Franciacorta and find La Fiorita, because it was indeed our favorite one. In the small village of OME, we found the incredible vineyard La Fiorita with family members working in the production on site. We met the grandfather who graciously said to ring the doorbell and walk inside. We entered the small room where several types of La Fiorita Franciacorta, wine, andgrappa were sold, as well as homemade fruit preserves. We were welcomed by another family member who invited us to meet the grandson, Gabriele, inside the winery. This charming man gave us a wonderful tour followed by a tasting of different types of his Franciacorta. We purchased several bottles of La Fiorita Franciacorta Brut. Meeting this wonderful family and being at La Fiorita was one of the highlights of our trip.

Franciacorta winery visit followed by a nice walk at the lake Iseo. My 4th cantine visit in Franciacorta, but I am still pleasantly surprised by different characters of Franciacorta that each winery can offer! Pas Dose from Mosnel was just amazing 😍
大好きなフランチャコルタのワイナリー見学に行きました!昨年から始めて4箇所目ですが、また素敵なフランチャコルタに出会えました✨

My partner and I went to Fanciacorta for a couple of day of wine tasting. we had a fabulous time. We found the various wineries very friendly and interested in sharing their wines and their unique process of production. Furthermore, the cuisine in the area was terrific as was the scenery ... great for drive in the county and along Lake Iseo.

HI. I am visiting next sept 2017. Extremely interested in visiting this wine region. Is it best to book a tour, or could we rent a car and navigate the region ourselves. Are reservations a must ? Are there different routes to takes? Thanks Donna
