At 150 square metres this must surely be Australia’s largest chocolate shop! Adjoining our factory, the Visitor Centre is located on the edge of Adelaide’s famous parklands, just a couple of minutes drive from the city centre. As well as our standard product lines, we also offer factory seconds and discontinued lines plus additional souvenirs and gourmet foods. Factory Tours Join us for a free 20 minute tour and find out about the history of the company and get a peek at how we turn a bitter cocoa bean into delicious chocolate. Afterward, enjoy a complimentary chocolate, tea and coffee. Tours operate Monday to Saturday from 9am. Tours can be booked via our website. Groups are also catered for by special arrangement. A high quality chocolate experience topped off with a free tour around the factory, highlighting the chocolate making techniques, history and the story of the Haigh family business. Great to have some samples offered as part of the tour. The retail shop has some great options for both dark and milk chocolate lovers! Visit regularly throughout the year for both... More

I went on the Haigh's tour due to a tip off and wasn't disappointed. It's free to do, you have a few little tastes of the product and there are free hot beverages. Cannot find fault. Yes the tour is short, but is precise with with a knowledgeable staff member who used visual aids when we were not able to... More

We visited here on a bus tour. Once our bus group was inside and other tourists arrived, the shop was very busy, pushy and not much room to move around in. Through glass windows you can see staff put the finishing touches to the chocolate - whether it be wrapping or decorating them. You are given a couple of small... More

Turned up on a Saturday afternoon on spec and managed to get on a free chocolate tour 30mins later. Whilst we were waiting there was free tea and coffee or water and we sat outside in the sun in a small garden out the front. The lady conducting the short 25-30 min tour was fantastic. Very interesting story of the... More

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Well, that's about it really. There are tours of the factory which appear very popular, but we come here to buy some of the best quality chocolate in Adelaide. It's a great place to purchase gifts as there are a variety of boxed chocolates and hampers. The specialist chocolates at the main counter are always... More

The tour was free, samples were free, cup of tea/coffee at the end of tour free. What better? Tour was very informative and it was very interesting to see how much is still handmade as opposed to automation. And what a range to choose from the shop. Superb!

The informative free guided tour takes visitors on a journey through the history and creation of Haigh's world famous chocolates. Bonus points for the free tasting samples provided and the 'seconds' section in the factory store.
