We didn't look through this historic house (tours on Sundays) but the gardens are a great mirror into the past, and worth a stroll through.

Guided tour was most interesting. (Had some difficulty in arranging a booking as the brochures, website and other promotional materials had differing contact numbers... but we got there in the end!)

This is a neat little location, I'm sure that it would be a lot more fun if I had taken a guided tour. It seemed like the kind of place that you would stop for a picnic.

I only walked through the gardens as the home was closed. It looked an average place. It's only a few blocks from the main street so its an easy walk.

Interesting flora and peaceful. It would be wise to check if the Pines is open for inspection, as it would prove to be very interesting. We understand that it can be open on a special request, if notice is given, and staff are available.
