This Galah is not spectacular but it is huge and in reasonable condition. If you are into Australia's big things its a must do visit.

Some "Big" things in Australia are fun, interesting or creative. This is none of them. The flock of real galahs sitting nearby only made it look sadder. Maybe little kids would enjoy it, but don't go out of your way.

Just a stop on the way through have to stop just because its there Not much else the bakery is ok if you are into Gem stones

Driving past this place you have to have to stop and have a pic taken at the big Galah - and also the half way across Australia sign.....you will be sightseeing and it makes sense to do so.

It was a lovely visit that we had to the town. Took photos of the Big Galah, and the Half way accross Australia Sign. The painted Silos are magnificent. Stayed the night in the free RV campsite with BBQ's and kids playground. The Big Galah...More
