Kids had fun and this was worth the pretty long distance out of London. It’s expensive and merchandise is even more expensive. Greatest experience for the adults was watching other adults actually walking around in Harry Potter clothes ;)

What an amazing place. So well set out and organised. Exciting from the time you arrive til you actually tear yourself away to leave. Loved everything about it. Would highly recommend for anyone of any age - we went for husbands 63rd birthday!

You can go inside and chill. They allow you to enter, you can eat something at the cafe, roam around the store which is huge to kill time or just enter the studio and visit the store at the end. Give the tour the time it deserves, and do try the Butterbeer. It's delicious!

Yes, you can. You enter the building and have bag checks etc. There's a walk through to the main entrance to the actual tour, which has a Starbucks, the shop and a cloakroom, which is free. I would recommend getting there early anyway because you may want to take photos as you walk through the hall to this area. Hope that makes sense. There's also stuff outside to photograph as well. Just keep an eye on the time, so you're not late for the actual tour time. Hope that helps.
