This is a small but quaint and interesting place to visit in Mid-Eleuthera. Not a bad stop to spend a few.

Interesting to see a building of this time frame still viable and functioning. Not really any "Structured information" just a warm welcome from the librarian at the desk.

When strolling around Governor's Harbour, stop in the library for a look into history of the island and also learn some of things they are doing such as pushing to ban plastic bags to preserve the ecological balance of the island.

This is a fantastic institution in an amazing location and setting offering a huge selection of books for children residents and tourists. Anyone visiting Eleuthera should visit and financially support it

Cute little historical library with views of the Governess Harbour bay. Books on both 1st and 2nd floor. Computer upstairs for public use, with a balcony to take in the ocean view. Has that old library smell, hard wood floors, kids section downstairs.

I believe so - there were High School girls doing homework on computers on the 2nd floor, but the library lost power when we were there. Best to contact the library directly.
