When I went there, there were no butterflies but locals told me that later in summer there would be. The path inside the valley is beautiful. Usually, it has an entrance fee.

We saw few butterflies in the valley but this is a pleasant walk. Make sure you visit the monastery at the top.

I don0t know about May. We were in July and I expected more of them but there were not so many.
