To discover that this small out of the way place is the first international airport of Canada was simply amazing. The museum is small but provides a 20 minute movie, probably filmed in the 30's, that tells the story of how the area was developed...More

This is across the parking lot from the Botwood Heritage Centre. Quite interesting display of the time when the flying boats made Botwood (apparently) a household name. I had no idea they used Botwood as a trans-Atlantic stop, nor how luxurious flying was back then...More

Just stopped in and look around and took some photos and found it very interesting. I would recommend this to anyone who visiting.
