We visited early on a very wet October morning with the falls in spate. The water was chocolate brown and fell with such force that we thought the wooden viewing platform was shaking. The falls are located about five miles along a wild and lonely dirt road but if in the area they are definitely worth visiting.

There is something very Australian walking through a rainforest, seeing ferns and other natives and experiencing the freshness and picturesque countryside. The walk to the falls is approximately a 30 minute leisurely stroll but all the worth it. I do suggest taking water with you as the hike back is relatively all uphill. I enjoyed these falls immensely and felt... More

This is a good place to go camping, there are drop toilets, fire places and a nice walk to the waterfall. Can get very cold though so take lots of blankets! Camp site are quite close together so make an effort to be friendly to the neighbours! No water or rubbish disposal avaliable on site.

I went on a motorbike ride through the beautiful Otway Ranges and came across this waterfall. A tip to any other motorcyclists take a pair of runners and we're a T shirt. It was 16 degrees I returned covered in sweet as its a long walk and lots of stairs. Well worth the walk though. A fantastic little camp ground... More

Hardest walk of all the waterfalls but well worth the effort. We could have sat at the waterfall for hours, just beautiful. Plenty of water even though it's summer. Great lunch/camping spot at the start of the walk including toilets.

More people need to visit this place! We drove 4 hours for a day trip to this waterfall on the weekend and it didn't disappoint. It took us about an hour to do the full hike (up and back) but we were stopped at the bottom for maybe 20 minutes. The walk but up wasn't as easy as we thought... More

We visited this falls just after Hopetoun falls as these are very close to each other. What an amazing place to visit. Hiking through the rainforest was just beautiful, The forest is full of ferns , streams and little bridges crossing the stream. It is so serene and peaceful . Allow at least 1-1.5 hours return if walking with kids... More
