We have seen a few waterfalls! It's a step walk down with plenty of stairs, muddy in winter - but worthwhile the walk! 30min return walk! Platform view once down the bottom. Plenty of water flowing. Our 10 yr old & 6 yr old enjoyed...More

There's so much to see and explore on the Great Ocean Road, so much to take in and so much beauty around you. It's hard not to fall in love with the surroundings. This was has a fairly decent walk to it, and was not...More

The only waterfall within the Great Otway National Park with a unique "4 ribbon" presentation that is retained irrespective of the season or rainfall. Leeches galore off-track downstream. Opportunities for creative photography closer to and just below the falls, but the rocky terrain is far...More

This hike has many stairs but is a very short hike. You can view falls from parking area but I highly recommend the very short hike down to bottom. It’s worth it.

Very glad we stopped and walked to these falls. We visited on a cool, crisp, showery day and the forest smelt wonderful. There is a viewing platform about 20 metres from the car park but the best view is at the bottom. There are a...More

If you are short of time, I would do these falls ahead of Triplet. After a few, you do get a seen one seen them all feeling. Shorter walk, better view of falls.

A beautiful setting with the falls framed by lush Otways forest. Would be great to see after a period of real rain.

We didn't climb but saw these from the viewing platform by the car park. This was pretty good and we had a reasonable view of the falls. Partly obscured by trees but guess this is par for the course! Worth a slight detour to see.

If your down this part of the world, the Hopetoun falls are a beautiful example of of beech wood rain forest environment along with the Ottway ranges and National park. Largely untouched and refreshing. Peaceful and relaxing!

Easy to drive to, smallish carpark, a viewing platform 20 metres from carpark for those who don’t want to do the walk to the base of the falls. A steepish climb down, many steps, some fitness is required especially when ascending.

Yeah not at the actual falls. The closest legal one I know of is the Wonky Stables Holiday Park, which is 9km from the falls. Here's an awesome site for camping in Aus too if you're looking for other spots in the area... More
