We came here two years ago on passing en route home again we thought we would try it again and were not disappointed. The welcome and friendliness of the staff along with the cosiness of this pub is worth a visit. The food did not disappoint and we had a lovely relaxing evening.

This pub is set in lovely milland 3 miles outside liphook and looks promising from the outside but its a family type pub with lots of outdoor space for "little darlings" and three different spots to eat on reflection we chose a narrow path at the front overlooking the car park its better inside but it was hot. Lunch menu/prices... More

Our visiting family decided to have a meal at this pub ... waited an hour and a half, without any explanation, for our food to arrive after being ordered. Having a youngster with us we needed to have our meal in good time.. The manager was apologetic after we complained. There were a number of other family diners in who... More

Have eaten here a couple of times and the food is really good. There is also a very good bar with a good choice of beers. What really lets it down is the terrible service. Meals sent back three times before the waitress got it right. When we did all get our food we had no cutlery. Such a shame... More

Go regularly - today was not allowed to join in -wife and girlfriend get to gossip! They had good time - 'ladies what lunch' now changed to 'light lunch' i.e therefore not excluding the potential male diners. £11.00 each - very very good value - good service and good fresh food, thanks.

Went here for lunch with friends. We all had the special Ladies Wot Lunch 2 course special at £11. Prawn and crayfish starter, followed by steak and frites with a garlic butter on the steak. Both courses delicious, the main quite small but perfect for lunch. Will definitely be back.
