Very impressive, with excellent views from the tower

Good preserved and very interesting castle. The tower is not hard to climb, and sure worth all effort. For those "photography-obsessed"- is one of "must visit".

A good spot to see Cesky Krumlov town from the top. But some of the walls were painting, good to see from far.

The whole city of Cesky Krumlov was beautiful and old, the castle was no exception. It was great to walk through it and learn some of the history of the city. If you are in Cesky Krumblov this is a must see.

A huge castle complex. Open from March 25 thru October 31. For individuální there is a chance to get in without a reservation. For more people it is a must to book ahead on the appropriate phone number. Check their web page please. The whole City centre is simply wonderful. Do ČK together with Hluboka and Holašovice.

From Wikipedia, review at bottom. "The Castle Tower is probably the most famous symbol of Český Krumlov. The banner at the top shines at a height of 86 m above the Vltava River. The tower has a Gothic core, but it was completed in Renaissance style. The lowest section was created in the mid-13th century, while the second floor, slightly... More

We toured the outer portions of the castle...did not go in. We were part of a Viking cruise tour (which was exceptional!). The entire castle and village are unbelievable...worth a few hours for sure, then make sure to visit and shop in the village below.

Cesky Krumlov was a layover station as we headed towards Prague from Munich. We were a little disappointed to find out the castle was closed on Monday so you can't enter the castle or the tower without admission. However, the castle ground remained open, which still allowed us to take some stunning panoramic picture of the town. The garden was... More

Great walk, gorgeous preserved castle that is fascinating from all angles (in terms of architecture and scenery). You can spend an hour or five there, depending on what kind of traveller you are. This is one of the Czech republic's treasures. A must see.
