Amazing place with many paths. Great even for family with children. Beautifull ladscape with lot of positive energy around. We spent 3 days and we saw half. For sure we will come back.

This is a great place to visit for a weekend if you enjoy the countryside and like to refresh with lashings of Czech beer. The walks are rocky, but anyone who knows what walking boots are should be able to do them. The famous arch is really specular and you can watch it from the pub / restaurant just next... More

I wanted to do some hiking while on my holiday and my research kept coming up with this place; so I decided it would be worth four days out of my two week holiday. It most certainly was; I did two guided hikes with Northern Hikes and two on my own; each one was unique. There is some really interesting... More

Please see my review for the Wild gorge as they do belong together. We spent half a day there, enjoying every moment.

This hiking is not a very easy one, but it is worth the effort. The Saxon Switzerland National Park (bastei) and the Bohemian Switzerland National Park (Pravčická brána is filmed in narnia) are both a part of the same National Park, crossing over two borders: the German province of Saxony and the Czech province of Bohemia. It's a 1.5K walk to reach the Gorge from the nearest car park, that costs 1E a day, pretty good value. Once at Edmond Gorge you take a river punt (25 to a boat, ask for Seniors discount, about 50%) up the navigable stretch. Disembark, then if you wish walk 20 mins to the next Gorge and another river trip.... More
