The church was closed for reconstruction, but even with that in mind, you should definitly visit this church. Its just beautiful. You can enter the entrance, pray a bit, and light candles. Parking your car nearby is hard, but for a few euro's you can...More

The church is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely one of the must see landmarks in Karlovy Vary. The interior currently cannot be accessed, but the facade and the entire building are worth the visit.

The exterior is really nice, completely refurbished. Now is the inside under renovation, that might still take weeks if not months.

I would like to make a suggestion that this is not Kostel. It is an Orthodox Church (Pravoslavnya cerkov).

5 Star review based solely on the stunning exterior as access to the church is not available whilst it undergoes renovations. The gold on the spires of the church stand out and are easily seen from the Diana Tower.

It's such a magnificent Orthodox Church especially when taking pictures at night. We couldn't go inside as they are renovating it. We are so lucky because the Church is just right in front of our hotel. It is a must visit when in Karlovy Vary.

I did not mention any prescription for drinking water. I did tried it, though, as it is free to enjoy from the colonade fountains. If you're not doing spa treatment, one day will be enough for Karlovy Vary. I've never been... More
