Dear Robert, thank you for your evaluation. We are glad you enjoyed time spend in our museum. Unfortunately, the mine is under the reconstruction (the stairs down) to be ready for next season starting April 2019. See you next time in Kutná Hora. Edita D.

This was quite interesting, and a bit different, but we had some issues. We went with our tour group and had a tour of the museum, then went down into the mine. There was our group and then independent travellers were added to our group...More

Thank you for your review. We understand it is not so comfortable to visit our mine in huge group of people. We are sorry for that. Many people are instersted in visiting the mine. Next time it will be better! Thank you for understanding.

A tour down into a medieval silver mine, a truly unique experience in a charming Czech village. Not for the claustrophobic! Also see the soaring, light-filled St Barbara’s church up the street.

A small courtyard with this small museum but it has a lovely fountain that pays tribute to the miners that worked in the village long ago.

Kutná Hora was a great place to visit, particularly for the Bone Ossuary. This museum has some great reviews, but it looks like most are for the underground tour we couldn’t do as it was already booked out for the day. That’s the lesson... The...More
