Inside the Cathedral was beautiful and offered a wide variety of side altars and stained glass windows to admire as well as the ORNATE organ with its golden figures adorning it. However, what I most enjoyed were the flying buttresses which have always captured my imagination

Even though is not a very large church is very reach in its architecture and inside you can admire the frescos. Very nice altar.

Visited with friends on route to Brno from Plzen. Wasn't disappointed. Views were amazing. Cathedral was very impressive to look at and around. A stunning little town too. Will definitely try and come back for a visit if its own next time rather then just pass through.

A fantastic looking cathedral comparable only to the one in Prague and on the right day this could be better I think. If you walk along the wall leading up to it there is a great view where you can take some great photos.

Didn't like that they charge an extra 50 kc to go up to the last floor. (In addition to the entrance fee) but it's definitely worth it! You get to explore the cathedral's architecture from a whole different angle. One the most underrated structures in the Czech Republic. We went as a group and enjoyed it much more than the... More

Really enjoyed going to see this Cathedral while in Prague. It's very interesting and is different from other cathedrals. We went in the morning and there were very few people.

This huge cathedral is really impressive and beautiful, it has fresh paints from around 13th or 14th century and the outside is really aesthetic and enjoyable.

Work began on it in 1380 by the same architect who designed St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. Murals inside depict mining scenes. The cathedral with its three massive and tent –shaped spires arising above a forest of flying buttresses is a wonderful example of Bohemian Gothic. I’ve never seen anything like it. Definitely worth a visit paired with the Ossuary... More

Been here twice, even more impressive the last time. Really beautiful indeed. The architect is the brother of the man who constructed ST.Vitus cathedral in Prague. I think St Barbara is more beautiful. I will gladly recommend a visit here.

Breathtaking Gothic Architecture! I have visited many churches and this one stands out, with it's immense scale and butterfly buttresses, that must be seen in person. A short, one hour, train ride from Prague, comfortable shoes, your camera, and long sighs are all that you need. We walked from the train station (approx one hour) but, after the Sedulac Ossuary...
