Also known as the Cathedral of St. Barbara, this is one of the most famous Gothic churches in Central Europe and also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visited this attraction after Sedlec Ossuary/Bone Church. It was an easy bus ride from the...More

This church, while beautiful, is not really worth the 120 cz (about 5 euro) admission price. I enjoyed the frescoes, stained glass and altar piece, but honestly only spent 10-15 min walking around the inside. Overall it was rather small and lacked the ornate tombs...More

Im always learning. St. Barbara is the Saint of hunters and weapons. I find Cathedrals fascinating and even though I’m not of the Catholic faith, I’m drawn to the architecture no matter what country I’m visiting. I keep telling myself that I’ve seen enough, however,...More

This is actually a church, even though it is often referred to as a cathedral. The construction took over 500 years as building kept being interrupted by wars or lack of money. It has an unusual roof and amazing buttresses. Originally it was intended to...More

.... the best view and feel of thecomplexity of itsconstruction is inside upstairs. Here, its airy and full of light, which is unseen as construction usually will not provide for such amount of windows and light. Worth a visit.why does a church cost money to...More

Nice to visit and then a stroll down through the town for a drink or icecream. There are also a range of food outlets.

This is a really massive and amazing cathedral, for which construction started in the 14th century and continued into the early 20th century. It is very unusual, and well worth a visit.

This building is impressive. The unusual roof and architecture is a must see. Inside the stained glass windows and wall murals are brilliant works of art. This church is not overcrowded with religious icons so you can enjoy viewing things individually. Definitely worth a visit.

No idea. Suggest you contact the local tourist info centre and ask them. They have a website destinace.kutnahora.cz which gives you means of contact via email, facebook etc.
