It's nice to see but not worth a stop if you weren't planning on overnighting in Liberec. We've combined it with a diner in one of the restaurants on the place.

This magnificent building is the main building in the town square. There is no entrance fee to go inside and admire the interior. As far as town halls go, this is one of few that looks like a cathedral. Definitely worth a visit if visiting...More

Outside it looks more like big cathedral than rathaus. No entrance fee. Go inside and enjoy beautiful stairs, Corridor and window paintings. There is also history in English available. A must If you visit on Liberec!

Magnificent building of the town hall is a sign of how rich and important city Liberec was at the end of 19th century when it was built. It resembles the town hall in Vienna therefore Liberec has sometimes been called Vienna of the North. Anyway...More

A very grand building in the heart of the city. Beautiful from just about any angle and located on a lovely, compact square with some great places to eat or sip a coffee. Built in 1893 when Liberec was still predominantly German, it lends Liberec,...More

Wonderful history here and beautiful architecture of the city hall building. Absolutely gorgeous. A lot of fast and fine eateries along the cobble stone narrow streets in all directions. Much to see and do.
