Neighbourhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

I am a lover of jewelry and precious stones so I have to come in. It is small but has many interesting pieces of a jewelry. The staff is very nice and incredibly helpful (speaks english fluently). I had no idea about differences between bohemian garnets and the other fake ones so I am glad that found out about it before buying something in other shops. The shop itself is magnificient, jewelry is beautiful, it is difficult to decide what to buy and you can buy a lot there. :)

If you are interested in purchasing jewelry with real Bohemian Garnets, you must visit this small museum. It will save you a lot of money and probably shame. The collections are lovely and the staffs are very helpful.

The czech garnet museum is a really good place for those who are looking for original czech garnet and want to learn more about the process of mining and creating these marvelous pieces of jewelry. The staff is really friendly and explained everything about the czech garnet. And also the price is value for money.

I was at the museum right before the pandemic started and I was very impressed by the educational exhibition and the beautiful historical collection. The shop too, was amazing and the variety was broad and fit for any budget.
Was a bit hard to find the entrance since we got there when it was already dark outside, but the locals were friendly and directed us to the place.

Looking forward to come back,
Gali

In the same building as the Fantastika Black light theatre, it offers a short yet well-balanced experience of documentary, interactivity, jewellery design and craftsmanship, leading to the national glorification of a stone known as Czech granát.

Loved the idea that you can look for your own piece of Czech granát - as found in nature, which you can take with you as a souvenir.

The staff is friendly and approachable.

A friend and I visited the museum while the wives shopped. I visit Kazakstan on a regular bases, but I learned more from my visit to the Prague museum’s Kazak display.
