Neighbourhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

    Fun experience
I really enjoyed this museum, its quirky and fun with lots of photo opportunities. There's lockers available for a refundable deposit which is really handy. The features inside are really good especially the mirrors, light room and tunnel. We had lots of fun. We did notice a few vouchers for 20% off after we had gone. So it's something to look out for if your planning a visit.
Dear Ruth, thank you for your visit and for daring to sense more while exploring over 50 exhibitions. Mirror maze, light room, and spinning tunnel are some of the visitor's favorite exhibitions, besides the amazing PinWall and other unique exhibitions. Looking forward to your next visit, Gabrijela

An unforgettable experience to relive my senses
I went there on the 21st of August with my husband. The gentleman at the reception was very kind. He helped me with the WiFi password to access my tickets. The experience was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed reading the different displays on the walls. We managed to capture our experience on different angles. The museum has a lot to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hello, We are very happy to hear that you could fully enjoy our Museum! Our graphic illusions are made to trick your brain and our interactive exhibits will teach you something new and exciting about your senses :) And, of course, our employees are always happy to help you! Looking forward for your next visit to our Museum! Best wishes, Gabrijela

    Fun museum with interactive exhibits
A small museum but definitely enjoyable, had a lot of fun and there's lots to interact with. Particularly enjoyed the rotating tunnel which was a bit of a mind bender. Staff were friendly and there's lockers to put your stuff in with a small (50kc) deposit. If there were some more exhibitions it would be perfect but I think it's still well worth the price of admission and is a great place for some photo opportunities and is well located.
Dear zakslater, Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear that you had fun and enjoyed our exhibits, especially the rotating tunnel—it's definitely one of our favorites too! We're glad that our friendly staff added to your positive experience. We truly appreciate your feedback! We’re always looking for ways to improve, and your suggestion helps us in planning future updates to make the museum even better. Kind regards, Gabrijela

Some of the experiences are fun but the museum is really small, we spend half an hour.. Also, I found that the ticket was expensive for the quality of the experiences: some not working or really old aged. Would recommend it only if you have seen every beauty of Prague

I had a very bad feeling when leaving the museum...
The idea of the museum is good, yet it is very small and from its opening nobody took care of it - most of the exhibits is already damaged, broken or missing. The real idea of only draw the money from the tourist is obvious.
With that money comes the biggest problem - cheating. I had to pay 150 CZK (6 EUR) with a discount card. (After visit it seems too much for its value as well.) But the ticket seller said their equipment doesn't work and he will give me price like with the discount. So he said 380 CZK (15 EUR). ??? I said what? Than he said ok, 300 CZK (12 EUR). I said it should probably be 100 CZK(4 EUR, the price with discount during the workdays). He said no, the price is 200 CZK already with all discounts. I paid and he didn't give me any ticket!! and told me to go!
And all that happened even when I speak Czech, I can't imagine, how the museum is ripping off the tourists!

Dear JenZridka, thank you for your review. We investigated this situation, because visitor´s satisfaction is our priority. At the time you came with your Active pass, our internet connection was lost. Our mistage, we apologise you for this inconvenient, Our colleague Zdeněk, who checked your Active pass and then sold you the ticket, proceeded well. Because we could not offer you a ticket for 150 CZK, he offered you a discount. The discount that you were offered first, 380 CZK was for 1 adult ticket and 1 child older than 5 years old. Regular prices are 299 CZK for adult and 179 CZK for child. Then, the second price Zdeněk mentioned, of 299 CZK, was our regular price for 1 adult tickets, when he found out that your kid is less than 5 years old and goes for free. This was his own mistake, which he realized immediately and corrected his information about discounted price for 199 CZK. When you agreed, he put it in our cash system and wrote a note for our accountant, that the discount was offerred for inconvenience with Active pass. He could have given you the bill, because it exists, because he, correctly, put your ticket in the cashier. Again, we apologise you for our lost internet connection and miscommunication from our side. We are sure that our colleague´s procedure was correct and we stand for fact that we are 100% fair company to every visitor´s payment. Thank you for understanding. Best regards. This was around £10 to enter and we had been looking forward to it.

It was quite busy with a lot of children running around which probably skewed our views as we couldnt properly take the time to do things. Theres some good photo opportunities here but it's all quite basic and over very quickly. We were only in there for 25 mins.

The whole place looked a bit grotty and smelt like a kids soft play.

I wouldnt put it on your list of stuff to do if you're visiting Prague. Maybe just give it a go if you're at a loose end.

Overall there are some great ideas in there but we payed about 25€ for two persons and were done in about 30 min (while doing some of the activities twice).
Also at the end there are signs asking you to write a review, show it to the staff and then receive a free gift. Therefore be careful when reading others reviews.

We paid 700 crowns between us, equivalent to around €30 and honestly it wasn't worth it. Obviously we had fun, there were fun attractions with special illusions, but too few, for the price we expected something more. We were more impressed by the museum of illusions, more interesting and fuller! All in all, however, you can have fun with illusions, but either they lower the price or add some illusions. Advised? No.

Dear Mxxm, thank you for your review. The Museum of Senses is over 450 m2 and exhibitions trigger kids and adults to explore and have an amazing time for over an hour. We are sure that you have explored a Mirror maze, left your mark on the biggest PinWall in Prague, or dared to lay down on a Bed of nails with over 1.500 nails. Looking forward to your next visit, Gabrijela

I consider this place suitable mostly for children. There is a lot of interesting interactive activities for them to try to understand basic physics. They are also resented in a playful way so definitely something that your kid can waste some time with.
In a contrary to that, some expositions are not suitable for them. I saw a boy taking down a frames picture form a wall as he didn't see it properly. The picture hanged above his head.
The coolest exposition was Vortex tunnel. It makes you feel really dizzy. I had an urge to go through the tunnel few times just to prove to myself that I can walk through with closed eyes. Finally some challenge!

Dear Jana, thank you for your review. We think about our museum as a place suitable for all ages. Not only kids can use the stairs to see better all exponates, including those which are placed higher :) We are happy that you found the Vortex tunnel challenging, Vortex is one of our most favourites attractions. It's not really big but it's worth a visit if you're with friends or family! Nice experience. Some of the people exhibits where a bit damaged but nothing major, I'd like a bit more variety. The mirror room and the spinning room were cool
