About
Gallery of Steel Figures is an interactive and original exhibition in the centre of Prague. Our steel figures are inspired by characters from cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy, fairytales, pop culture as well as animals and hits from the automotive world. You can touch, climb in and sit on all the figurines and of course, take pictures with your favourite superheroes or childhood friends. And the good part is, all exhibits are made from recycled steel parts! Which means, we managed to make scrap and metal waste into art! We exhibit over 100 figures on 1200 m² and two floors in a beautiful art noveau building in the historical centre of Prague. If you get tired, you can rest at our café on the 1st floor and have a cup of coffee, homemade lemonade or a delicious fresh pizza. We also offer a large selection of original souvenirs for you to bring back home. We hope to welcome you soon!

Neighbourhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

    Creative!
We enjoyed the creative use of hexnuts, screws, motorcycle chains, gears, and other metal items welded together to create well-known figures from TV and movies, cars, motorcycles, etc. Children were especially fascinated. It is permitted to touch, photograph, and sit in/on the figures.

    Amazing! Such talent
My husband wanted to visit here and I have to admit it wouldn't usually be my first choice of things to do on holiday. However, this place is phenomenal! The figures are seriously impressive and detailed. There's such a variety of characters and models and you're welcome to sit in the cars and touch the figures for photo opportunities. Well worth the money and I've never experienced a location like it before.

    Very clever and such fun
We had visited several years back, and knew they had relocated to a bigger building and had added new exhibits, so we returned. The staff are so kind and friendly and the exhibits were superb. I recommend here very highly, for adults and children

Get up close to film monsters and sit in a Ferrari!
What an amazing and fun experience! My son and I came across this quite by chance, but what a find. There's a huge range of models - from Chewbacca to Pinocchio, from Elvis to Alien, from a Ferrari to Winnie the Pooh. An added bonus is that some of them are interactive - you can sit on them, open doors, swing chains, hold weapons. A really great place to visit for any age!

metal scrap transformed into true pieces of art
Very cool and original museum, very nice to see something different... A museum full of metal scrap transformed into true pieces of art. You can pose by the many statues from your favourite movies The museum has 2 floors and also have some cars and motorcycles which you can actually sit in. Upstairs is a small children's corner For us it was very pleasant to walk around and see al these figures and sculptures and we spent about 1h in the museum I think this is very fun to visit with kids.

If you are in Prague try to visit this exhibition.
We where passing and taking photographs of the few exhibits outside the building when a couple on their way out recommended we should go in and see. On this recommendation we decided to give it a try and where so pleased we did.
It’s full of pieces reconstructed from all recycled metal. All your favourites film characters are there from Disney, Marvel and Minions through to a spectacular Game of Throne chair and fabulous cars and motor bikes.
You can leave all bags and coats if required at a free bag drop and they encourage you to climb on or in any of the pieces which is truly good fun.
Over two floors there is a lot to see
We spent a very happy couple of hours here and took a ton of photos and of course on the way out we found ourselves recommending it to people outside looking in.
A must do in Prague and some very very clever recycling

It's a museum set in a modern building with lots of sculptures made from welded car components from a scrapyard with a protective resin coating. They look like take a while to make and I think one placard explains this. Mariusz Olejnik is the guy behind the art work. You can sit in and on the exhibits where appropriate, good if you want photos.

There's a bit of history about iron and steel production (including English language verison) on the wall and ease of recycling.

There's an area upstairs where you can build "Merkur". To my eyes this looks like Meccano.

It felt a bit expensive for what it is, very quiet when I was there, useful to fill a spare hour and location is very convenient for tourists. It did make me ponder the rise of electric vehicles as the sculptures use a lot of gears and complex gearboxes are on their way out.

There's another unrelated exhibition on the top floor with a separate entrance ticket. Something about light, I didn't look into that.

We enjoyed exploring the gallery on a rainy day, when much else was inaccessible. It is very child friendly, since one can touch and play with everything. There are several opportunities to climb inside and on top of the exhibits, which include popular TV characters, cars, and much more. The museum is a very short walk from Old Town Square, and located near several restaurants. Everyone in my family had a wonderful time walking around and exploring this museum. Wholeheartedly recommend this gallery to anyone who wants something to do indoors, that can entertain the whole family.

I loved this place. It was a good way to spend an hour and there were great photo opportunities. The figures are really excellent. We were two adults however this would be a great place for kids as it is quite interactive. Give it a go, it's worth it!

We are so glad that we stopped into this amazing and unique gallery on our last day wandering aimlessly around Prague! It was not even on our list but ended up being one of the most memorable highlights. These figures are made from recycled steel parts and the craftsmanship is just out of this world. The figures can be climbed in and on, kids (and adults) can play with separable parts (hint: light sabre), and there is a construction station upstairs where you can try your own hand at building a model or two. Highly recommended!

Very nice and very friendly staff. The exhibits are very impressive and there is a lot to see. There is also a “cafe” area, where you can build your own statues from metal bits, which was very fun for me and my family. Pricing is very reasonable and my experience was worth every penny.

Fascinating place with some incredible exhibits. Worth going just to see Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. All the exhibits have been crafted with great care and attention. I was blown away by the ones crafted out of little nuts- the detail they were able to get was incredible. It was also nice that, unlike other places, you are encouraged to touch and sit in/on the exhibits so you can really get an appreciation for the craftsmanship and effort behind them. Great one for kids as lots of familiar characters they will love. Very reasonable entrance fee.

Interesting gallery of steel statues. It's very interactive, you're allowed to touch everything, sit in the cars, take photos. They have a great selection of exhibition pieces over two floors, though some of them look a bit dodgy.
Great place for children and teenagers to go wild and pose with all the figures.
