First walking tour that we have done and was very pleased. Our tour guide Terry was fantastic, sharing interesting history and fun facts. Was a chilly day, but the mid-tour break was a perfect chance to warm up and ready ourselves for the second half. Highly recommend.

I went on a 3 hour walking tour and Tijo was the groups guide. Immediately from the get go, you can tell he know's his stuff and he often throws in a bit of humour in there to keep your attention. As well as his knowledge of the history of Prague, I like the way he warns you of certain... More

My boyfriend and I traveled to Prague for just the weekend, and we had the best free walking tour with Filip. He is very funny and he knows everything about Prague's history. I highly recomend it!!

We really enjoyed our tour with Andy today, we learned sooo many things, probably the whole history of Prague, many tales, funny stories and also up to date facts, yes he knows A LOT and not just superficially. Andy gave us tips to save money in Prague and also a list with his favourite pubs! What else can you ask... More

The tour was really great. A good mix of history and sights and we really appreciated the added humour! The clock show may be the second most disappointing thing in Europe but Brandon's impression of it is a "Can't miss"! Though hopefully he doesn't get your hopes up too high about the cube ice cream because it's only available in... More

We took their free tour of the Old Town (with Jeremy) as well as the paid tour of the Castle (with Karl I think). The guides were incredible - friendly, extremely knowledgeable and brilliant speaking skills. The free tour takes you to the main areas of the old town, but does not take you into any of the sites where... More

We took the free city tour with Katerina. The tour was very informative and we saw a lot of the city however the tour was especially enjoyable due to our guide Katerina as she was both knowledgeable and professional. She delivered the information succinctly with some additional humorous additions. We did do another tour with Sandemans which was good but... More

On January 4th 2017, we did the Terezin day tour with Krystina. Boy! This was a memorable day! Thank you Krystina for making this tour so interesting. Krystina is Sooooooo knowledgeable it is unbelievable. Even if the subject is very somber, she managed to explain everything to us in a very simple and clear way. Responding patiently to our gazillion... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
