Black Light Theatre TaFantastika in Prague and its performance Aspects of Alice is one of the oldest black light performances, played for almost 30 years. Traditional Czech theatrical technique with beautiful music from Smetana and others will tell you a story about Lewis Carrol, the author of Alice in Wonderland, and his Alice. Two times every day - at 7PM and 9:30 PM. This show is not the story of Alice in the Wonderland, it's about what's behind the story and author's life. We have a NEW CAFE - opened every day from 1PM to 11PM, offering different variations of coffe, fresh tea, alcoholic and soft drinks, healthy snacks (like Raw ice-cream for example) and popular hot chocolate! Good prices and LIVE MUSIC every day!

Nice folks, theatre not too full in off season, Note - the late showing has some nudity, some concession at the theatre

I really enjoyed this show. I've never seen blacklight theatre before and I didn't know what to expect. The music was beautiful and atmospheric, the scenes were colourful and strange - sort of a combination between playful and dark. The "tricks" were really fun to watch and brought that combination to life on the stage. The actors were superb and... More

It's kooky and strange and was a surprise highlight of my Prague trip. I was ambivalent about attending after reading some of the reviews on here but decided to give it a shot anyway. We went to the late session and bought discount tickets (600 korunas) just before it started. We thought this was very fair considering the amount of... More

I have read some of the reviews and I guess some things are not to everyone's taste. I with my wife thought it was great, remember you are not going to some classy West End show, if you think you are don't go, if you want some down to earth entertainment with no talking but some good effects go and... Really unique family friendly entertainment. Throughly enjoyed it. Was some people from Spain ahead of me and they appeared to be tired or grouchy. They left at intermission. Glad they did. Less interruptions from them talking. Rude. Stuck around after the show for secrets how they do the show. Was an unexpected good time.

The show was fantastic! This is my first review on any entertainment. But, I was driven to write about this show. It's located right next to the St. Charles Bridge, on the Royal Road. So it's easy to get to. They even put together a short workshop after the show to show us the tricks of the Black Light Theatre.... More

they tried to give a glance of Prague through the eyes of Alice. A nice way to do that. A professional combination of "black" and regular scenes.

The theater is at a great location and has a real nice design to it. Show itself is a flow of multiple different length scenes, some of the scenes are really humorous and all are really cool to watch. A must for all Alice in Wonderland fans. O, and there is a little surprise at the end

It was a good show but the tickets are expensive . At the end it was so surprising , they showed us how they did the tricks! Also you can act if you want!

The play Aspects of Alice was fine, but there are better options in other theatres of Prague for the same price. It's been disappointing how they tricked us in the souvenir shop, by playing with the change and the currencies. There are much better options in Prague.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
