Enter from the castle point through the little cafe and walk down through the gardens to come out on the street below. There is not much to see, but it is pretty and tranquil and a respite from the madding hordes

We saw the stair part of the garden, what was gorgeous! The fall is just wonderful there! I'm sad we didn't know about the other parts, maybe this was only open. The lady who had sell the titckets spoke only in Czech.

Missed the entrance in the crowd heading down hill from the palace, so climbed back up the hill. The entrance is "disguised" as a small coffee shop! After paying a token entry fee, we emerged to a serene and quite steep, Italianate terraced garden with...More

I took me 5 years living in Prague before I found this spot. It became my favorite place in whole of Prague. Worth the small entrance fee

Stumbled across this beautiful series of terraced gardens leading up to the castle rampart walk giving such great views across Prague. 80 crowns well worth it. I'd suggest turning left at the first terrace to a ascend more gently through a series of Italianate terraces.

of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
