I'm no church lover but it was really nice inside. Even though I've been to Prague many times this was the first time I went in. What took me so long? You will find the entrance between two restaurants.

Our room was just in back of the Tyn Church so it was an integral part of our stay in Prague. The interior was less impressive than the towers and the outside, which looked to me like the Disneyland Castle and stood out day and night by the Old Town Square.

We first visited this church in 1968, at that time it was open at all hours and was very dark and dingy, not much had changed when we went back in 1993 but after that they started renovating it and after renovation it became much less accessible, but it is now light and airy and a beautiful church inside and... This is the dominant building looking over the old town square. Especially beautiful at night. You can't miss it when you walk into the square for the first time

This old town square is the centre of tourist life in Prague. Have visited the square many times and never get tired of the views and architecture that changes throughout the day in under different weather conditions. Will undoubtedly be back on a future trip and pass through here again and again.

Prague is often called the City of a Thousand Spires. Even a major landmark in the city’s Old Town, the Church of Our Lady Before Týn feature multiple spires. The church is an important backdrop in the religious history of Prague and Bohemia, being the central church controlled by the Hussites, the pre-cursor to Luther’s Reformation. Like many parts of Europe during... More

The was obviously in a different language the normal Ness of the Roman Catholic Church was very soothing. Amazing Oregon unbelievable amount of artifacts. Can't imagine the amount of gold that is actually in this place.

When I visited Prague I was looking for this kind of experience: old medieval constructions to visit. This one is gorgeous and looks like one of those castles on children's books. Also beautiful inside, of course.

If you love fine architecture this building is a must see. You will not be disappointed. It is a shining star located in Old Town Prague. Be sure to take your camera and a nice selection of lenses to capture this beauty.

This gothic church is the iconic view of Prague, you can get a great view of it from the top of the Old Town clock tower. It's also beautiful in the golden light at sunset and also when it's lit up at night - yup it's pretty much amazing at any time! You can go inside the church but only... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
