Well this is Prague, old cobbled streets, lots of shops, tourist ones, glassware,Russian dolls, cafes, restaurants and the square itself with the clock tower. Do stand and wait for the clock to reach the hour. At Christmas square is full of market stands, selling Christmas items and food.

This church is always the image that comes to my mind when I think in Prague. Unfortunately there's no place in Prague to take a picture to the whole church as there are buildings all around covering parts of it. The inside is not that great but the outside is simply magical.

Prague has so many attractions. This is one of many that you will come accross on your trip to Prague. Xmas time adds a little extra (if any were needed). A walk through the old town and you will pass this landmark enroute to many other worthwhile places.

Take the time to explore this amazing church. The inside is just as amazing as the outside. When we visited there was a crack-down on the taking if photos, although this didn't stop people taking them, the joy of the challenge.

Even if I'm not a fan of churches, I have to say that this is my favorite place in Prague. Amazing view, incredible colors and the building is just like a Disney castle. As you can see by the pictures, the sight is unbelievable and it makes you feel romantic as never before! Definitely a must-see place of this city.... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
