You can easily walk from the Prague castle to Petrin. There you will find serenity, as the crowds do not venture here. There are several benches along the pathways and some of them offer an incredible view overlooking Vltava, Charles Bridge Prague Castle, Vysehrad and even further districts of Prague. The gardens are lovely especially in spring when the trees... More

It was snowing heavily when we went up the funicular railway to the top of Petrin Park Hill. We had a lovely hot cup of coffee to warm us up and then a tour of the gardens and chapels with beautiful views of Prague in between snow showers. Well worth a visit. We had bought 72 hour travel tickets and... More

Walked up the hill and past the monestry to the tower. Then walked up to the top. Fantastic views as it just started to go dark with all the city light up. Take your camera!

Very nice views! Totaly worth paying to get there (to the middle of the mini-eiffle tower- the end is not good since there are blurry windows). you can use a valid tram ticket to go up there (or do it by foot)

This is definitely an area of Prague that tourists must visit! The walk is a bit of a challenge, especially with snow and ice on the ground. However, the views on the way up the hill, as well as at the top are incredible.

Loved everything about Prague but this was very disappointing. We walked from the magnificent castle to this. It's nowhere as impressive as the Eiffel Tower. Reminded me of the cellphone masts we have in Africa.

The walk to the tower is totally worth it! I think it is walkable for most people (my condition is not what it used to be). Entrance is not expensive and you get a great view in return! Back down, you can take the cable cart, for which you can use your public transport cart.
