Neighbourhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

I just couldn’t believe the number of grown people kneeling and praying before a doll. I guess that’s the difference between spirituality and conventional religion. The former doesn’t need an ‘intermediary’, whereas the latter does.
As to the statue’s periodic ‘wardrobe change’, I’m reminded of the little girls of yesteryear who used to change their dolly’s clothing at every opportunity.

Karmeliska is a beautiful street in Prague ,lined with great looking buildings, one of the most beautiful is Kostel Panny Marie Vitezne A Prazske Jezulatko aka The Monastery Of Jesus Of Prague or Church Of Our Lady Victorious .
Constructed between 1611-1613 ,this church is a great example of Baroque architecture and is very pleasing on the eye ,when we visited on the run up to Christmas the church looked wonderful and there was a cute nativity market set up outside the church ,looked so cool ,if you're in the Lesser Town ( Mala Strana. ) district it's a church to most definitely check out and it's easy to locate along Karmeliska.

Known as the infant Jesus of Prague, the statue is located in the Church of our Lady Victorious and it has been a symbol of Christian Faith and Jesus teaching to millions of people around the world since its creation. The statue is over 400 years old, made in the 16th century and donated to the Carmelite Church in 1628. Worshipers from all over the world continue to visit the little Baby Jesus, during our visit the priest came out and in English asked the people present where they were from. They were from China, South America and Canada. He then invited them to follow him to the sacristy for further prayers.

The church of the Infant Jesus of Prague is a very interesting, very important church for Catholics. The Infant Jesus of Prague is venerated especially outside the Czech republic. It is very much venerated in Latin America. The church is not very much visited by locals. It is not crowded; in fact when I visited the church, I was alone. The church has a nice museum with many robes given by presidents and other important dignitaries, mainly from Latin America.
The church is easy to find. It is in Mala Estrana and walking distance from other sites of interest. There is no entrance fee.

This is a very ornate church with 6 alters along the sides, a very ornate main alter and 2 chapels. One of the alters contains the statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague, Jesus represented as a child. It originally came from Spain and was given to the church in 1628. Entry to the church is free. It is worth a visit.

A lovely welcoming church with a Christmas theme outside. Internally very nice main altar and left hand side altars and a wonderfully striking altar to the right hand side. No entry fee so leave a donation to a church that still opens its doors to all.

This is a must stop when visiting Prague. It’s not a large church just a small neighborhood church that is still quite an experience. The story of the little statue of Th baby Jesus is amazing. There are brochures and souvenir shop nearby.

Hi. We were with an OAT tour group here. This is another old old church that is still in use. It feels funny to go in and look around while they have a mass going on. That little statue that is historically significant is kept here. There is something of a miracle associated with it but I don’t remember what. Something to with when the Nazis had invaded and they buried it. Anyway a great place to visit and they do have a little souvenir shop. This in on the way to the Charles Bridge area and the John Lennon restaurant.

Visiting this church and seeing the Infant Jesus of Prague statue was a dream come true! I have been dreaming about it for years and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
However, we did visit it while there was a service going on, so we couldn’t stay for long or take lots of photos.
I highly recommend visiting this gem!

Prag’da Görülmesi gereken yerlerin başında yer alıyor. İçinde gezerken insanın böyülenmemesi imkansız. Prag her bakımdan harika korunmuş bir şehir .
One of the must-see places in Prague. It's impossible not to be told when you're walking around. Prague is a wonderfully preserved city

i want to see all the merchandise on your gift shop.
Written 27 July 2018
It's a weird request. If wanting to buy merchandise on the Infant Jesus of Prague, there are shops around the church. Maybe at the internet also it's possible to buy, but you will have to do some work and search. Good luck.
