I didnt know anything about this brand or store before and it was my first time in Czech Republic, only that on my way I read somewhere about a beer shampoo.. and that's it. On my way home I needed to buy something for my mom so I went into their store at the airport, and I fell in love.... More

This was my favorite place to shop in Prague for gifts to bring back home and also for products for myself to use. I have a glass nail file that I got here which I would be VERY upset to lose. Everything is reasonably priced and excellent quality. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Have you ever heard of the "Beer Shampoo?" If not, check out this shop located at the heart of Prague. This shop also offers a wide array of souvenir items which according to our Czech tourist guide are made in the Czech Republic (not in China... take note). If you're the type tourist that collects authentic souvenirs from the place... More

Sells Czech beauty products as well as Czech glass beads, Easter eggs, porcelain and wooden toys. There are a number of ranches in Prague. The products are excellent and well priced. If you like shopping I would recommend a visit.

There are many Manufaktura shops in Prague and it's not a problem to find one. It's a great place to buy presents for friends and family. There is a great selection of very special and unusual cosmetics, like beer, wine, different fruits and herbs (my favorite is beer collection). You can also find here hand-made wooden toys, combs and other... More

We've shopped at Manufaktura for the past 6 years. We absolutely adore their beer soap -the one that comes in a donougyt and they cut it to suit- but unfortunately it looks like they've stopped making it!? Really disappointed. That said, the rest of their products are excellent and reasonable value for money too. We're visiting again in February 2017... More

This is one of the best shops I've been in when travelling abroad. The local handmade wooden toys are great for children and of good quality. These are real toys that children can play with rather than sitting in front of iPads! They also sell local cosmetics and handicrafts. Wonderful and helpful staff too!

If you're wanting to get yourself or someone you like a great gift from Prague, this is the best shop I can think of. It's mainly soaps, gels and lotions, but there are also nice mugs, trinkets and a whole level of wooden toys upstairs. Plus it's located right near the Charles Bridge so it's very conveniently located. Skip the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
