It's a modern building designed in 1996 by the american architect frank O. Gehry. On top there is a beautiful overview of the town with an external terrace of a bar. The external building remember two dancers and it is usually called by the citizen, Ginger and Fred.

Worth the visit and dance in front of it! If combined with a walk to the national theater, it is a great experience!

You could take a picture on the other side of the sidewalk, but you couldn't go inside the building. Just for a photo, no much to do. It was a bit far if you'd like to walk from the Old Town (more than 30 min).

Nice building for some photos. I didn't enter the building, so I can't give detailed comments on the building itself.

I notice how others have given this attraction mixed reviews and I can understand that. However, we had a great time. We purchased a few glasses of wine and sat on the balcony enjoying the sunset. The views of Prague are amazing. It is very...More

Very interesting and unique building. A must see when in Prague. You have to cross the road in order to get a photo as it is located on quite a busy junction.

When my friends visited me here when working in Prague, I'd always take them to this building because it provides such a great view of the city from the rooftop bar. You'd need to buy a drink, but even so this was only around 2...More

Prague is an old town with a great amount of lovely old buildings. The dancing house is very modern architecture but it fits well in style with its surroundings. It has an art gallery, very good French restaurant and a hotel. Wort spotted NG.

Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square
represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of
the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the
square watches over your spending spree in countless
shops and retail stores lining the entire square,
which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping
street. When tired or broke, you can explore the
city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town

The "Dancing House" is used as an office building and it is NOT open to public. However, you can visit the restaurant "La Perle de Prague". It is located on 7th floor, with a nice view of the river and Prague Castle panorama.

Both, there's a restaurant in the building and a lovely coffee shop at the top floor that you can also get a drink in!
