The fortress could not seal out evil no matter how well built. It contains excellent displays from Terezin as a concentration camp. A must see. This is 2017. Will history repeat itself? God help us.

I saw many fortressess in Europe, but Koenigstein really impressed me. Amazing place and it is worth to go there and get know about history of this place (f.ex. during WWII it was the stalag for war prisoners).

The walled town that served as the family camp. See it with Pavel, walk the town and see how it appeared someone normal, a sad state of affair.

A ghost town with a lot of history, the ghetto museum has a very informative film, which tells everything you need to know.

The fact that you're in the city where the prisoners were being held is impresive, at the same time the city/town itself is not to impressive anymore (besides the museums). Not well preserved and not to many people living there (for a reason obviously).
