You'll need minimal paper guide which is available free of charge at the crematorium. And do not miss the cemetery map, which is shown also in the crematorium.

This is a somber site with the graves of thousands of Jewish people who were buried here . The symbolism is also significant in that it is supposed to show felled trees . What is also interesting is that the Nazis built the menorah as part of the strategy to convince the Red Cross that all is OK at Terezin... More

Pavel Batel included this on his fantastic guided tour, and it was well worth the visit. Very sobering place.

I think i was incredibly overwhelmed as when we visited the Jewish cemetery, i had no reaction to... More

Extremely sad, mass graves of innocent people that have been denied to live their lives, they have been mistreated, abused, and murdered. .

It should be a terrible place to visit, particularly if you have been to other local historic sites, but somehow it is calming and well maintained.
