Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arriived ffrom Nynäshamn with the ferry and got a good grip of the area. Fine view of the enourmous (Soviet style) Westerplatte monument, exclusive sailing yachts and the rather intricate outlets of the river.

We went up the river on the pirate ship to Westerplatte which took about 30 minutes and you can see all the shipyards and the enormous boats. There seems to be a lot of work going on around the docks so I imagine in a few years it will look completely different.

I have always been fascinated by the harbours, how containers are loaded/unloaded, cranes etc...It is avery interesting experience to watch the work around in a large but yet not huge port.

Amazing place to see! How new ships are build, repaired, or how material is transported with them. We decided to do a trip with cruise ship to Westerplatte and during the trip , we saw a part of the Port Gdansk.

From our balcony, we could see the monument and the grassy park-like setting. It was really special. Popular with the locals, it was fun to watch people enjoying themselves. From this location, it is a good bus or taxi ride to Old Town so maybe not that convenient a location to the tourist-y things we came to see.

From our vantage point, a beach wasn't evident but the park area is pretty big so maybe there was something on the other side.
