Easy to find on Dluga Street , as it's named on the outside. The exterior looks nice , but the interior is splendid. The entrance fee is negligible ( 10 zlt per adult / 5zlt student / OAP ( £2 , £1 approx) . From...More

We went there after a recommendation of the local guide Marta who took us on a free walking tour. The place is different in style than most of the other sites in Gdansk. It pays to visit but it is not a must

I was staying in a rented apartment in the refurbished and modernised XVI century building so I wanted to see the original layout. It is nicely done but it did not give me the impression of going back to the past. I would love to...More

When entering we were led up to the top floor where an exibition about garden design was on display and it was only in Polish. It has nothing to do with the Uphagen House. The actual Uphagen house is not so interesting. It's not spectacular...More

The reconstructed interiors are quite pleasing, but offer little insight into Gdansk's past. The collection is mediocre and poorly described. If you're in a hurry, I would give it a miss.

The food and service were lovely. We visited with a total of 6 people - the food was cooked and presented with excellence and precision. The service was faultless. Well worth a try.

Visited for free on a Tuesday. Staircase leads to a couple of rooms then there is access on the ground floor to domestic rooms and more on the second floor. The tiled heaters were a feature rarely seen. The decor was strikingly modern. Well worth...More

This historic 18th century house-museum on Gdansk's main street is a remarkably restored treasure and gave us a glimpse of the elegant lifestyle of the wealthy merchants. The stunning murals and architectural details are complimented by period furnishings and a pleasant docent who spoke excellent...More
