This building is unbelievably huge. You cannot miss it in the city centre, it simply pulls you closer by its gravity. Walking around it the second day in Gdansk, I had to enter again because the inner space is so vast. I was feeling really humble when standing there silently. Highly recommended.

Been to so many churches around the world that I've sort of lost the interest in them. I had no intention visiting this either, but happened to pass by and decided to just have a quick look. I'm glad that I did as it turned out to be one of the more impressive churches I've been to. So huge and... More

Stunning church of red brick, so serene inside and away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The exterior facade of reb bricks is imposing and ornate and inside there are many statues and works of art to draw the eye. its a lovely place to visit, we really enjoyed it.

A must see when visiting Gdansk. It can be found in the old town and is worth stopping by and taking a look.

This church is situated in one of the parallel streets of the one who goes through The Old town of Gdansk. I think the church is open every day during day time, and you can access it from several entrances. This is a really beautiful church with sky-high ceilings and magnificent decorations.

Immaculate and beautifully presented church. Almost Basilic in parts which shows tourists just how Catholicism has themed from similar designs I've seen in Spain. Well worth a visit with small and reasonably priced shop inside for candles and wafers.

Wherever you are in the old town of Gdansk you will see this huge church. I liked it most when it was lit up in the dark. The outside is much more impressing than the inside though.

I am not a religious person but you cannot fail to be overwhelmed with the size and beauty of the church. The walk up the tower leads to a great view over Gdansk but beware..it's bit claustrophobic at first and there are 400 steps..each marked so you know how far you have to go. My advice go early

Fantastic example of a grand Catholic Church. Worth a quick visit and a nice opportunity to pay respects to lost friends and family by lighting a candle.
