It was a bitterly cold day in Gdansk. The pirate ship was on limited schedule for off seasons so only took two tours out. We caught the last one, and therefore couldn’t get off in Westerplatte. An easy round trip ride with ok commentary (the...More

It was out of interest in the actual galleon that we decided on a visit to Westerplatte. Having boarded the boat we found it fairly basic, as a 17th century galleon should be! The rain did not dampen our spirits as we passed through Gdańsk...More

I don't agree with all cricticism done this trip. The trip is really cheap and the staff really helpfull and with a good level of english (at least the guide who is also really friendly). The views are not out of this world I agree...More

The worst 90 zl we spent during our wonderful trip to Gdansk. The English commentary was almost unintelligible and the bits we did hear were dull, dull, dull. The itinerary was utterly boring and the ‘scenery’ uninspiring. Plus to add to our misery it was...More

And they replied: do it, it won't work. You are not the first. Their website says we would go to Westerplatte, leave and come back on another boat. Their leaflet read the same. My trip was only there and back, no stop. I saw the...More

The trip takes about 1.5 hours. We decided not to get off based on previous reviews. Pleasant trip and staff were nice. The route is not particularly picturesque. The menu on board looked quite nice but we chose not to eat. The people who run...More

You couldn't hear what ever was being said over the speaker. Not a lot seemed to be said anyway. It was the most depressing sight. Tatty buildings and miles of ship yard. Just wanted to get to the war memorial. Odd traveling there by a...More

Interesting trip. Westerplatte could be better signed. Boat although not authentic was quaint. Menu was extensive for those wanting to eat, but you need to do there and back without getting off.

A great way to visit westerplatte , the guide was in English, polish and German. I'd recommend staying no more than 2 hours in westerplatte as it's plenty of time to see everything. Really enjoyed the boat trip.
