Our guide, Tomas, was hilarious. He had us laughing whenever he wasn’t delivering the hard core history of Nova Huta. The tour was informative, sobering at times, but also great fun. We highly recommend this tour.

Wonderfully informative tour of the Nowa Huta district in eastern Kraków. With the scorching heat, sitting in the back of Trabant was a proper communist experience. If you want a more in-depth and authentic experience, this tour is for you!

Kornelia was an amazing guide and our only regret is we only had time for the 2.5-hour tour - a longer tour would have been even better!! We saw fascinating sites and every moment was educational and enjoyable. This is really a must-do in Krakow to learn more about this area!

It was amazing. I visited it with my friend and my mum and the guy spoke fluent English. Our guide also dressed up as a communist vender and the trip was very interactive overall. I learned a lot of things and had a great time.

We were picked up by Maciek who was the whole package - funny, nice and knowledgeable. I remember following the fall of communism in Poland back in the day but speaking to a local who lived these times was priceless. I don't want to say too much about the trip - instead you should book it straight away and experience it on your own.

Brilliant trip to Nowa Huta with our fantastic guide Mateusz. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us many fascinating and funny stories about the area. Honestly the best guided trip I’ve ever been on! A must if you are staying in Krakow.

One of the best tours i think I’ve ever done… Crazy guides deluxe communism tour in a Trabant 😀
We visited the socialist utopia of Nowa Huta, Lenin steel works & their cold war bunker and ate Pierogi in the oldest restaurant in Nowa Huta.
Just a fab day ❤️

Can we book a tour for the afternoon of 14 November 2019 with Traband car to Nova Hute District. We will be staying on the main sqaure in Fragola Apartments. We will be available from 3 pm to take the tour. Please let us have the price for one car and two passengers?

I think you can go in afternoon but not sure as late as 3 as it’s dark at 5. Think the price is £35approx per person but crazyguides will tell you they are very helpful and we enjoyed the trip it was different

Would people recommend the 2.5 hour or 4 hour tour? Is the longer one including a 2 hour walking tour? It sounds fun, just not sure which one to choose

Hi lfogart.
We did the Deluxe tour last month. near the start you stop at an old communist style bar for a drink and then you have lunch at a milk bar which is very filling. We had perogies and potato pancakes.
It's a great tour and I'd highly recommend it!

Hi . we have spent 3 month altogether in Krakow and will be there in 2017 early may. We stay in old city apts. just off Floreinska. There will be 4 of us from Canada and wondering what a half a day tour would cost us?

That would depend on what you are planning to do. You can do anything from just Trabant tours to complete communist experience with for example gun range.
